It’s been about six weeks since Pantone released their color of the year, Marsala. I know not everyone was on board, but I love this color. I find it much more wearable than last year’s Orchid.
As a matter of fact, when I was school shopping with my nephew last fall, we bought a pair of burgundy jeans and I started thinking about how many things he could wear them with, gray, khaki, black, navy, etc.
It’s a very grounding color. It works as a base, but I also like it as the star of the show. Deep wine/burgundy can be very versatile. Here’s a few things I rounded up that I love in Marsala!
I love the color. I just bought some Jamberry wraps in this color (with a fun pattern.) I’m hoping to break them out after Valentine’s Day, since I’m going super fun and red and flirty for the next two weeks. 😉
