Thanks so much for sticking with the blog through my long business trip and then very long recovery from the resulting cold I caught! Fingers crossed it is gone and I am back to blogging!
Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that the Lilly Pulitzer collection for Target is going to launch on April 19. Big excitement in the old blogging world! I’m not going to lie, I am pretty excited, but I am trying not to get too, too excited, as every other limited edition Target collaboration seems to sell out in an hour.
I do have my wish list ready just in case there’s more stock than I think there will be. The absolutely great thing about this launch is that it includes, women’s clothes, shoes, purses, hair accessories, plus sizes, swimsuits, home accessories, children’s clothes and even makeup collections with Essie and L’Oreal.
I have heard that the items are going to be mixed in with their specific category instead of in a pop-up shop. That may actually make it easier to find some in stock. Who knows?
This collection is similar to the Liberty of London one, in that if you aren’t a Lilly fan, you probably aren’t going to like most of the choices. There are many neutral pieces though, so even if you are scared of the wild prints, you may find something you love.
Enough talking! Let’s get to the good stuff! My wish list picks!! I would be happy to get any of these on Sunday. Let’s start with my women’s clothes and bag picks.
You can’t go wrong with the classic Lilly shift dress. There are plenty of different patterns available in this style, I just loved this one, clearly! I think 90% of my picks are in this print. There are a couple different versions of this embroidered clutch. It’s adorable! The tote bag is a given, as is the strapless maxi.
Okay, the flip flops are a must! It’s probably a toss up for me between the remaining three.
This Lilly for Target Home Collection is so super cute! There’s so much to love. The floral candle holder I picked for the million things I can think of using it for once the candle is used up. The pillow would be perfect on my office chair. You could make pillows out of the napkins and the nail file, cause come on! How cute is it? And it’s only $2.
Have you checked out the collection yet? Do you plan on checking it out in person or online on Sunday? What are your picks for your wish list? I’d love to hear about it all in the comments.
