I went to The Greenbrier a few years ago with my sisters for a weekend. The Greenbrier is an amazing place with so much history. It was redecorated in 1946 by Dorothy Draper and she was the resort’s decorator into the 60’s. Her protégé now is the head designer and it still reflects her style.
One of the décor features seen throughout the resort is the amazing banana leaf print. I’ve been kind of obsessed with it ever since I was there. It seemed like banana leaf print was big in fashion a few years ago and now is making a major comeback in décor. I absolutely love it in small doses. Makes me think of a tropical vacation all the time!
I rounded up some pieces I’ve had my eye on lately.
