Today is the first day in Pittsburgh that it even remotely feels like fall. I think it’s going to be a fleeting feeling though as we are back in the 80’s tomorrow.
I’ve been slowly getting into fall mode around the house and with my beauty products. The first sign of my transition to fall is always my nails. I went fall with my last pedicure and after spending a couple weeks of polish free fingernails, it’s time for me to embrace fall! I gathered up the best fall nail colors to share with you. These are my go to’s in September-November. I’ve been checking out OPI’s Venice collection, but honestly nothing screamed to me “must have”. Has it to you?
Back to my fave fall nail colors! I’m all over the brands in this group, Zoya, OPI and Essie. Clearly, I like to spread my nail dollars around!
Top Row from left: Essie Chinchilly, Hot Coco, Little Brown Dress
Bottom Row from left: Zoya Rekha, OPI Malaga Wine, Zoya Aubrey
The top three are all Essie. I really love Essie’s formulas and how they apply so easily and smoothly. My favorite color is Chinchilly. It’s a beautiful Greige that works so well in the office. It goes with pretty much everything and is a great color to try if you are a nude polish wearer. It gets you into wearing other colors without being too scary!
The two browns I’ve featured look amazing together and while they may seem pretty similar, they are definitely different! Little Brown Dress is the darker of the two. It is a very rich dark brown and can almost seem black in some lights. It is gorgeous on both toes and fingernails. Love, love, love it!
Hot Coco was a new one for me last fall. I like it best on fingernails and it is a nice rich chocolately brown. It’s a nice neutral while still giving you a little edge. Beautiful on!
Zoya’s Aubrey is very unusual for me. I am not a mauvey pink nail person. You know it’s a good color if I stepped out of my box on this one! It is just a really beautiful color with a hint of violet. I don’t wear it often, but again, a beautiful neutral for fall and a great choice for the office.
OPI’s Malaga Wine I discovered at the nail salon when I saw someone else getting it on their toes. I had to go out and buy it immediately. It’s a beautiful brownish red and is on my toes right now!
Zoya’s Rehka is a toned down version of your classic red. I like that it’s a darker red versus an orange red. It’s especially great on short, square nails.
Do you change your nail polish up with the seasons? What’s your favorite fall nail polish? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
