I absolutely loved reading Gone Girl, but unfortunately, didn’t love Gillian Flynn’s other books. The good news is, it reawakened my love of reading fiction and set me off on a quest to find more books I couldn’t put down. Luckily, I found a couple that fit the bill.
So, if you liked Gone Girl, I have a couple more books for you to check out. I read most of these over the summer and really enjoyed all of them. They are all different, but each had a mystery to resolve.
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
The story is told by multiple character perspectives and you are never sure who is telling the truth. It’s a high tension story that keeps you wondering throughout.
The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty
A story about middle aged Australian’s and their day to day life, but what if one of them has a big secret? Can you just go about living your life?
The Good Girl by Mary Kubica
Kidnapping gone wrong, but the real story starts after that. Another multi-character perspective.
Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll
Ani is so close to living the perfect life she always dreamed of, but a big secret lurks in her past.
Pretty Baby by Mary Kubica
She seems them on a train platform and can’t quit thinking about them. How far would you go to help a complete stranger?
Have you read any of these? Did you love them? Any others you would recommend? I’d love to hear your answers in the comments!
