I was desperately in need of a 3 day weekend to just decompress from the last couple weeks, hang out with my husband and take care of some things around the house.
I did spend a bit of my weekend shopping and got the chance to check out Pottery Barn. They were set up for Fall and starting to set up for Christmas, pretty much half and half. I took a ton of photos and left with some great ideas for my own house. I only had my phone with me, so I apologize for the quality. I did catch a guy doing bicep curls with his shopping bag, but didn’t post it, though I was tempted!!
The first thing I saw was this Christmas tablescape. I wasn’t a huge fan of the santa pants, which I think are wine holders, maybe? I did like the rest of it though and loved the simple centerpiece.
I absolutely loved the simplicity and think I am going to do the same thing for my Christmas centerpiece. Check out the cute placecard holders in the lower part of the photo near the logo. Adore them!
These birch candle holders can work for fall through Christmas. They were lovely mixed in with the lit trees. I was very tempted to buy them, but spoiler alert, I found them somewhere else cheaper.
I even found inspiration in the Ladies room. I had some of the basic materials to do a similar tablescape at home, so shot a photo for future reference. It had a very Thanksgiving-y feel to me.
I put together my own tablescape with a few things I already had and some new ones. I had the rope handled glass bucket from Home Goods this summer. I bought the vase filler and the birch candle from Home Goods (the birch candles were much cheaper there) and bought the tortoise candle holder at Pottery Barn. I really wanted the large version of this candle holder because it is GORGE, but it is almost Christmas and I have to be aware of budgets!
Though now that I think of it, I think I have a Pottery Barn gift card around here somewhere!
Have you been to Pottery Barn lately or checked out the catalog? What’s caught your eye? I’d love to hear about it in the comments.
