It’s almost Cinco de Mayo and somehow it snuck up on me this year. If you are like me, I thought you might be interested in some last minute ideas to help you celebrate.
A super easy way to make it festive is to create tissue paper flowers to scatter around. Directions via the link above via The Mamasgirls.com.
If you don’t have access to tissue paper, but do have a printer available, this free cactus printable is right up your alley. It is super cute!
While the cactus garland is printing out, have your kids work on creating this handprint cactus! The original link isn’t working anymore, so I can’t link to it!
How easy are these Hot Tamale favors? Info via the link above.
Need a quick centerpiece? Buy some limes, cut them up and put them in vase with water and a floating candle. The original link went to a dead youtube link, so I’m not linking here.
Have some old plastic Easter eggs lying around? Use them and some plastic silverware to create this diy maracas. Full instructions via the link above.
While too late to get this Tequila Tank for Cinco de Mayo this year, it seems pretty appropriate for any time Tequila makes an appearance! Buy it via the link above.
Do you celebrate Cinco de Mayo? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
