Friday Five

I can’t believe its mid-May next week, this month has been going by so fast.  Summer will be here soon.  I swear the weather here goes from 30 below to 90 and sweltering with no real Spring in between.  It was 89 on Thursday!

Here’s my favorite things from this week:

1.  I am always on the hunt for comfy flats that don’t look too old lady-ish. I was so excited to find a cute and comfortable pair of Nine West d’Orsay flats at Macy’s on Sunday!

2.  It started out a little dicey, but the weather finally turned this week! We had a couple beautiful warm days in a row.

3.  The NFL draft ! Always exciting to see people’s lives change in an instant.

4.  We went car shopping this week which is always fun!  With a terrible commute into the city every day, it helps to have a car you love.  My husband and I commute together every day, which I thought would only last a couple days, but we’ve been doing it for a year.  It actually makes the drive go faster having someone to talk to the whole way, plus we do awesome skits to our fave songs on the radio!

5.  We had pretzel sandwich day at the cafeteria at work this week!   If you’ve never had one, they use soft pretzel dough as a bun and then make a Panini with them.  They rock!
