Friday Five

I’m not going to lie, this week was tough! There were some highlights though and writing these Friday Five posts helps me to look on the bright side!

I heard this perfume smelled like coconut and I am always looking for coconut scents, so I checked it out in Nordstrom’s a couple weeks ago and absolutely hated it!  I needed to pick something up at the Estee Lauder counter at Macy’s and decided to check it out again and loved it this time!  Weird!  I’ve been wearing it all week and I have to say it does remind me of suntan lotion which is kind of coconut smelling I guess?  It reminds me of Bobbi Brown’s Beach perfume.  Either way, I like it.  It is limited edition so go grab it quick.

We had some beautiful weather over the weekend and I was able to spend Mother’s Day with my Mom.  I know I am very lucky to have been able to do so. The number of friends who had posts about their late mothers made me sad.

After much back and forth and lots of waiting, I finally received my monogrammed mousepad.  It makes me soooo happy when I see it on my desk at work.  I would prefer not to mention the company I ordered it from since I had so many issues in receiving it, but the product is very nice.  There are many sellers on Etsy that sell a similar product.

Thursday was National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and my work handed out cookies in honor of it.  No week can be all bad when cookies are involved!
