Early this year, I wrote a review of a summer show called Married at First Sight. You can find it here. It was a “social experiment” where experts picked out partners who married literally at first sight. They agreed to stay married a few weeks to see if they were compatible or not.
*Spoiler Alert * Two out of three of the couples remained married at the end of the trial period. The other couple divorced. It was announced recently that the FYI network will be filming a spin off about the two who remained married. The spinoff will be following them through out their second six months of married life.
I have mixed thoughts about watching the show, probably I am going to watch the first one and see how it is. My hesitance is because I think they will be more aware of how their actions will be perceived by the public this go around. I was a fan of Jason and Courtney, but Doug and Jamie, not so much. Mainly because Jamie was pretty hard to take and she had appeared on the Bachelor. While I do not watch the Bachelor, I think it is a bit much that she has appeared on it and this show. Me thinks she might be an attention whore.
