I have a real problem with coats. I seriously could not own enough of them! I absolutely have enough, but every year, I am drawn toward them again! Probably because in the midst of a bad winter, your coat and accessories are really all anyone sees. I did my initial scope of coats and found some really gorgeous ones this year. Here’s some of my favorites.
This Ann Taylor Cape is to die for. While I think it would be a bit chilly in January, it is the perfect coat for November and December. Beautiful and classic.
This Indian inspired Anthropologie coat is gorgeous. Such a bold color and beautiful detailing. I love the wrap style and belt. This stunning coat would brighten any winter day.
I’ve seen bright colored pea coats in a few stores, this JCrew bright blue one is lovely. It comes in a variety of colors.
Here’s another bright colored Pea Coat from Talbot’s. I love this hot pink, if I were to buy a coat this year, it would probably be this one. It too comes in a variety of colors.
I’m digging this JCrew toggle jacket too. It’s classic and I like the shorter length. Comes in several colors.

I’m with you….I LOVE coats and every fall, I’m drawn to the coat department and invariably buy another one :). I consider that my ‘thing’ and I love coats in bright colors (since everyone else is wearing black and navy!).
